Paver pool decks · Palm Beach County

A pool deck that feels like a resort.

The surface around your pool should feel like a five-star resort underfoot, not an old concrete slab that bakes in the sun and shows every year of it.

Why pavers

Paver pool decks done the right way.

A pool deck has to do three things at once: stay comfortable in the Florida sun, grip underfoot when it is wet, and move water away from the pool and the house. Travertine and marble pavers stay noticeably cooler than concrete and give a natural, slip-resistant texture, which is why they are the resort standard.

Concrete pool decks crack, stain from chlorine and sun, and cannot be repaired without an obvious patch. Pavers are laid as individual units, so a single one can be lifted and reset, and the surface keeps its look for years.

The part you do not see matters most around a pool. We build the slope and drainage so water runs away from the coping and the house, set a proper compacted base, and lock the edges so nothing shifts toward the water over time.

Cool underfoot

Travertine stays cool

Natural stone reflects heat where concrete absorbs it, so the deck is comfortable to walk on even in full Florida sun.

Slip-resistant

Grip when wet

The natural texture of travertine and the right paver finish give traction around a wet pool, where safety matters most.

Resort finish

Looks the part

A travertine or marble deck reads as a high-end resort. It is the difference between a backyard and a destination.

Our standard

What every install includes.

No corners cut beneath the surface. Every project is built on the same foundation, written into your estimate up front.

Working around an existing pool means the slope and drainage have to be right the first time. We verify both before the first paver is set, so water never pools against the coping or the home.

Questions

Good to know.

Is travertine hot to walk on?

No, and that is the main reason it is the resort standard in Florida. Travertine and marble reflect heat instead of absorbing it like concrete, so the deck stays comfortable underfoot even at midday.

Is a paver pool deck slippery when wet?

Travertine has a naturally grippy texture, and we select finishes suited to wet areas, so a paver deck generally gives better traction around a pool than smooth concrete.

Can you redo the deck around my existing pool?

Yes. We work around existing pools regularly. The key is getting the slope and drainage right so water moves away from the coping and the house, which we verify before laying anything.

Do you reseal the deck later?

We offer a separate cleaning and sealing service, usually recommended every 12 to 18 months, to keep the color rich, lock the joints, and protect the surface from stains.

What does a pool deck cost?

It depends on size, material, and the condition of what is there now, so the on-site visit and written estimate are free and fully itemized. Financing through Wisetack is available.
